In 2020 our executive producer Selah Shupe started a newspaper called “The Selah Shupe Scoop” which she used to encourage others during Covid. At age 11, Selah and a friend started cooking shows together - making videos of yummy things they enjoyed making and sharing them with each other. Selah called her cooking show “The Ugandan Shelf” because Uganda is such a special part of her heart as her family has sponsored multiple children in Uganda for over 10 years, and “Shelf” because a shelf is a place food is served and conversations are had over. About a year later Selah later came back to both of these things and started a ministry for Jesus’ glory, called The Ugandan Co. We are a ministry desiring to outreach to others, support Ugandan children, and make Jesus’ name known. Here at the Ugandan Co., we believe what God’s word says is true, we believe in empowering others to accomplish what God has called them to do and finally, we believe in Living out God’s grace, and mercy for ALL our days, with ALL we have.

This is Our Team; we are the Shupes. Set on mission to serve the Lord and magnify His name! Four years ago God rocked our world and we moved from Michigan to Arkansas! We are so thankful to be part of the ministry at FamilyLife and share what God is doing, as we travel as a family to the Mid-West region.
